Advice to students: Find out what resources you have access to as a student and take full advantage of them while you can. Don't be afraid to give something a shot because now is the time to go for it.
If you could be any major in your cluster, what would it be? Why?: I would choose tourism, conventions, and event management because Indianapolis is a growing destination for conventions and sporting events. There are a lot of opportunities to gain experience while in school and to gain employment upon graduation.
Biography: I moved to Indiana in grade school, so I think I have been here long enough to be considered a Hoosier. I like to experiment in the kitchen and learn new cooking techniques. I am married and have two sons. My husband works for Indianapolis Public Schools as an athletic director, my oldest son is an outstanding scholar who runs track, and my baby is new.
