The Arts, Humanities, and Human Services (AHHS) cluster in the Academic and Career Development office is the academic home of University College students pursuing majors in:
- Art and design
- Education
- General studies
- Liberal arts
- Music
- Philanthropy
- Public service
- Social work
The AHHS cluster partners with students on their academic advising and career plans to guide them into their degree-granting schools and to help them understand the numerous opportunities in these majors. In addition, students learn about critical employable skills that are gained in these fields, including communication, critical thinking, problem solving, innovation, community engagement, and technological proficiency.
We encourage students to engage in purposeful and productive co-curricular activities, such as research, study abroad, service learning, and internships, to help them prepare to transition into the world of work.
